Rode with Rusty and a new rider, Jesse on Monday. Managed to get another stick in the drive train, which actually destroyed some stuff this time. Really starting to rub me the wrong way. Still have the single speed that I can ride, and if it comes to it, I can pull out the cross bike. What a pain.... What a pain.

I feel your pain... I recently replaced the front middle ring and after couple of rides, two of the bolts fell off and I tore this new ring along with new chain... double Darn!
...and I broke one of my pedals on my last ride with TT. Didn't even know it happened until well after the ride. Luckily Crank Brothers will take care of it under warranty. Talk about good CS; I sent them an e-mail about the pedal and I had a response in less than an hour!
Nice. Warranties are cool.
I wonder how much an unbreakable bike would weigh? I thought I had built one, when it weighed in at nearly 30lbs with rigid frame and fork.
Guess not...
... with you, I don't think there is such a thing as an unbreakable bike! LOL
With as hard as I've been with my GF and now that it's been through a full season of racing... I'm wondering if I'm going to start seeing parts busting?! I did take it in to shop and had Shawn give it a good look over. I was pleasantly surprised to hear only things needing done/replaced were front rings & chain and re-packing the CB Eggbeaters. Actually, I'm also due for new cleats on shoes... feet pretty much swimming around in the pedals.
Don't worry, I'm going to completely clean the bike before the race Sunday and make sure all bolts are nice & tight!
The race at Crowder has been postponed due to trail conditions and weather. See the website!
I'm actually relieved. I wanted to race this course, and this weekend was not working out very good. It's all good!
