Trail Work Saturday???

Anyone up for some trail work on Saturday? I have Shawn's blowers and his chainsaw.
Let me know... I plan to be at the GSC around 8:00 am

I'm up. Will we be maintaining or cutting anything new? If new, I'll bring my chainsaw and brushcutter.
If we blow the leaves off the trail there should be just enough left yet to fall to make a perfect base and protect against rains.
Save me a blower.

Mainly blowing and cutting nubs
Possibly some bench cutting if we can get more volunteers.
You might want to bring your chainsaw as I'm not sure how well Shawn's will cut (have'nt tried it)
Anyone else in... We could use the extra help

Big thanks to Lance, Randy, Derek and Rusty for all the work on the trails today.
Thanks to Shawn too for the use of the blowers.
Sure makes things nice when you can get a group out there pitchin in.

Sorry to "avoid" you guys today. I had prior domestic obligations. I do want to thank you for your work, the trails were awesome!

Know how that goes Jim... Just glad you could get out there to ride em. I could'nt resist myself so I got out there for a late afternoon ride. Had time to hit all the trails once and, I must say, they were sweet!

Anyone thinking of going out Sunday afternoon?

Man, that looks nice out there, you guys outdid yourself. seriously.
I haven't been able to ride it, but could see it driving on 22nd st. I can't wait for this rain to stop.

If you haven't already, I hope you know that Lansen is going to have a flippen aneurism about you blowing Corby South!!!

The leaf removal on south couldn't be helped. We cut the 20 trees that were down and just kept going. A bridge over by the west edge of the pond (and a little asphalt) is all that is needed to make that a biker friendly trail.

We did all the rest and as Lance said, there are plenty of leaves to fall yet. The nubs needed to go. The bad part is that I know I walked right past alot of em. I actually kinda dragged my feet along while walking and found the majority of em.

Be grateful bitch, be grateful! the nubs-are-a-thing-o-the-past hippie
