At 4:45 I was in a meeting with my manager when the cell rang. Randy left a message saying that he and the gang were heading out to ride. I felt like I was in one of those funny commercials where the guy is trying to escape work. I finally got out of there at like 6, ready to rush out to the trails.
Single speed had a flat, geared bike had other problems. Ended up taking the On-One. Hit Corby, everyone was already gone by 6:45. 1/5 of the way through the South loop, I broke my seat post collar. Started heading out. Ran into Jason and Shawn, chatted for a bit. Rode home standing up the whole way. Kind of a lame night - sorry I didn't get to ride with any of you guys.
Heard from a guy at work about some trails at River Breaks Conservation Area. Haven't been there, but they sound cool. Will check it out, maybe it would be a cool weekend trip.
