Hot in the city...

What else is there to say? Its really hot out there lately! Heat index's have been over 100 for the past week and look like they will continue for the rest of this week. HYDRATE YOURSELVES! Tuesday night group riders, please come prepared for this brutal heat . Hydrate before , during and after you ride and don't over exert yourself.

We really need to get a good idea of everyone who is interested in being part of the planning for the bike festival. You can respond by posting a comment on this post, or if you want to talk to me on the phone just say so and I will get you my number. There is something for everyone to do, just ask.

Does anyone out there have any experience with starting nonprofit organizations? If so, let me know, I definitely have some questions for you. Remember , if anyone needs info on biking or trails , help with mechanical issues or even someone to ride with or show you to trail heads , you can post comments or request on any post and someone will get back with you as soon as possible.

My schedule varies, but yes I would be interested in helping w a bike fest.
The St Jo bike club is a nonprofit, they may be a lead source for info on establishing such an entity.

hydrate is the word, and don't forget to have some sodium intake as well....

Brad,
Congrats on your race! That is awesome! I guess I will have to start training or get my butt kicked all the time now.

My daughter is heading to Maryville for school. Are there any trails close to there. Also how can I get directions to your trail system. Thanks Jerry
