Funny Stuff

Rode with Jason today. After two weeks of no riding, then two days in a row of actually being on the bike, I was kind of tired. That's cool, it felt good. Jason apparently was tired too, he wanted to stop and put the stretching station to use.
I did a little stretching as well, but was too lazy to get off the bike.

Trails are in great shape right now, thanks to all the guys that have been hitting them with the gas power tools. I know Randy and Craig have been out there sweating and grooving with the trimmers. Thanks again guys.

Speaking of Craig, I been hearing he's fast these days. Pretty exciting to see some of the fast guys coming out of hiding this year. First I've seen of it since I moved here. Keep riding guys, it's great to see the rides rockin' and rollin'.

Oh yeah, here's one of Randy giving the two ball salute before the Landahl race. Looks like we got a money shot of Shawn in this one too. How often do you get a gem like this to post on a blog? Sorry guys.... Get one of me like this, and I fully expect for it to be posted the next day!

Lansen tells us Craig is the 1st fast guy he's seen since coming here. We've just been riding slow with you to keep you motivated. We all saw what happened earlier this year when the Lion schooled ya... you didn't ride for 6 months! I guess it's time to quit holding back and let what happens happen. I can hear the pissing and moaning about the BB5's from here!
The Stihl Hippie
P.S. I was just spreadin a little crackwax on my taint, as it has become accustomed to such attention before a long ride.

Bring it baby!

You won't hear me whining about the BB5s, doesn't matter how good the brakes are if you aren't on them all the time.

So we riding Tuesday? I guess you can stick it to me then???

Oh, I see what you mean by first I've seen since moving here. That didn't come out right. All you guys are fast this year. Jason, Randy, Shawn, B-Bob, Michael, Rusty, who did I miss. Just was trying to make a pretty sorry point that the first year of being here no one rode. The second year, a couple people rode, but not very fast, and this year I can just about expect to run into someone fast on the trails every night. Kinda cool. Thanks guys.

So we still on for Tuesday? I still am going to try to make you puke.

Tuesday night it is. I wanna hear a squeal outta that pretty mouth of yours. You're right about shitty brakes...if you don't use em it don't matter! Drifting the corners is where it's at as long as you have the reflexes to save it when the front tire washes out...it seems mine aren't fast enough at times. My little auger-in at Landahl proved that to me. The auger-in Hippie

Let's get this straight... Not fast, never been that fast and just trying to keep up. I'm fairly certain most all of you guys could school me any time you decided to.
RT, you can say what you want about that pic but all I can say is it looks like Shawn is pretty damned curious. Hate to see what happened next!!!
Just wanted to give you guys props on all the work you've been doing the last several years. The parkway trails are the best. I think St. Joe just might just become a destination for the surrounding areas as word get's out.
Thanks Jason for taking me on the actual Corby South loop the other night. I have ridden it several times since and actually think I have it figured out now!!
Anyway, it's good to be back out on the bike and off my lazy ass!
See you all on the trails.
Later

Oh, Shawn's curious - there's no doubt.

I don't think RT is curious, I think he knows just what he wants.

Sorry Shawn, I hope he's gentle with you.

Just learned I have a thing at my daugher's school tonight. It starts at 6pm. Don't know how late it goes, but may try to get out after.... depending on what the rain does. don't wait on me.
