Here is my report....The usual suspects were in my 35 plus race, so that means it was FAST! The course had one barrier section and two sand runs, no way to ride them about 30 yards each. There was a pretty rough uphill section before the barriers on the back side of the course, which slowed you down on what was a pretty fast, LONG course, nearly 2 miles a lap. I finished 9th in the race, nothing too great. Hope to have enough points to end the Boss Cross in the top 5 for the series. Craig and Jason raced well, Hoppe took off from the start and worked his way up to a commanding 2nd place position. It was funny listening to a dude before the start saying to Hoppe, You are doing this race on a single speed...LOL! Then Hoppe kicked his ASS! Not sure, but I think Hoppe took the Cat. 4 35 plus series title? Jason raced the Single speed race, he worked his way up into the top 6 or 7? Not sure, but I know the top 4 dudes raced at Jingle Cross last weekend and placed well, so Jason is improving nicely as a cross racer! Next races are Cross off the old year on Dec. 31st. Jan. 3rd, Epic Cross (New Sponsor), and Jan. 10th is the season final race for the Series 60 race's. I will be chillin a bit this week and recovering from all the racing the last 7 days! But, will be ready to end the season right at all of these races. See you on the dirt!
Found another cx race coming up this saturday. I can't go due to family obligations but thought some of you might be interested. Barnyard Cross - Manhattan, KS Here's a link: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_XlOy0f_HzNA/SuXuybWczZI/AAAAAAAAA1Q/w--LK78Od_w/s1600-h/Bad+Goat+Cross+Proof.JPG
