Boss Coss Pics...

Boss Cross 4 was fun, I think... My legs are sore like I did something anyway.. The course was actually tough. When we got there it looked like it was flat and boring, but all the hills were deceivingly hard and the sand sucked the life out of you... Did me anyway...

Here is Spencer on his second race, he did the ss and then cat 4... I think he used them as a warm up to ride 90mi home!!! Looks like ole Spenser is getting the hang of these things, getting much faster out there..

Hoppe, what the F*#K is that?!?!?! Spellman giving lessons on barrier jumping? Now if you hadn't won the whole damn series this would be quite the embarrassing pic.... Now that looks graceful there buddy... I will gladly give you some lessons!! As far as coming in last, I don't really have much to say on that matter... Yes, I finally broke the top 10!! 7 out of 7 in SS.... What can I say, I am an overachiever...
Nate is looking better... Keep at it!!
Hoppe on the right, got second in the race, first in the series... Gets all his entry fees waived for 2010!! Thanks for the shirt buddy!! Wore it yesterday already...
JP lookin like a pro!! I think its the yellow shoes....
I got the impression that JP was a little disappointed in his placing, but he looked strong to me..
All in all, it was a good day, the temperature stayed just above balls freezing to the saddle, but was cold enough that you had trouble breathing..
I am a little disappointed in my showing, but plan on getting back at it next time... Dec. 31st I think..
Fun riding with everyone, hope more can come out next time...

Dude... I was going so frick'n fast around that corner that I did'nt have time for a graceful barrier crossing... (sounds like a good excuse anyway, huh?)

At least you're out there. I just got a new MTB, and was following JDoug the other day (he didn't see me) but other than seeing him at the start I couldn't have proven it otherwise.

Either he's that fast or I'm just that slow (and I'm leaning toward the slow end for me).

This MTB stuff is fun though! Just building up some stamina so I can do more. Maybe my secret should be to follow JDoug's model and take some leftover TOM wine with me to get things started!

Missed you at the beer crawl but remember this coming Wednesday night at 6. I have to work and can't go, but it sounds fun.

Great Pictures and Congrats to Craig H.! Best part about it was hearing a guy say at the start of the race, you doing this race on a single speed! LOL! Hoppe smoked that dude!
I ran out of gas after 30 min. and just tried to cruise in for some points. Looking forward to the last 3 races.

Later,
