BE CAREFUL!!!!!!

Last thursday I was riding at Corby South just about the time it was getting a little dark. Just after riding thru the tennis court area , I rode over the wooden bridge and went thru fishing line that was tied to both sides of the end, It snapped easily and wasnt a big deal. Today I was riding in the same spot and this time a thick bailing wire was wrapped around the end. I stopped and pulled it off and it didnt get me. Be careful out there guys, between broken bridges and booby-traps riding can be dangerous!

It's me, Rob, from Fort Collins. I'm coming back to St. Joe this weekend and was hoping to hook up with some of you guy to ride and talk advocacy. I'm on the board with our local mountain bike club (www.overlandmtb.org), and want to talk to you guys about teaming up. Please email me so we can exchange numbers.

Regarding the booby trap, super weak. It sucks that some people in St. Joe have nothing better to do. I'm sure glad that we don't have to put up with that kinda crap out here...

Rob,
Good talking to you tonight. Hope we can get together on Sunday for a ride up at Krug. Also, I checked out Kurt Gowdy State Park and it sounds awesome.
For anyone who is interested here is a link to a video on it.

Hey all! I will be in Joetown this weekend! Bringing my Mtn. bike and cross bike...I spoke with Craig H. and I believe we are going to try and ride Krug on Sunday Afternoon?

I will try to hit the Corby trails on the Cross bike on Friday and Saturday a.m. I could get out from 8-10:30 ish? If anyone would be up for riding? I will be riding unless we are having a monsoon!

Post if you can make a Sat. a.m. ride, we can just meet at the top of Krug?

Later,

JP

JP,
Let's shoot for 1:30 on Sunday and figure on a couple of hours at Krug... Sound OK? I'm pretty flexible if we need to change the time though.
Like to get a big group together so please post here if you can make it... Rob, hope that works for you.

Guys, I soo sorry but I won't be up this weekend now. I changed plans because it was looking like it was going to rain all weekend. Now it looks way better but I already made the alternate plans:( Maybe next weekend!

On a side note, have any of you guys checked out www.netcairns.com ? You should take a look. It's a wiki site to document mountain bike trails. There is noting documented in your area. I think it would be a cool project for you guys to get started on. You could use the info on your website and it'll help when working with land agencies in the future.

I can't friggin wait to ride with you guys!
See ya soon.

Well it looks like JP will be cycle X racing on Sunday and Rob has changed his plans for this weekend also so I will likely be riding sunday morning instead of sunday afternoon. I plan to be at Krug around 9 am if anyone is feels like riding then.
JP is still coming up and wants to ride Krug at 8:30 saturday morning. I will be out of town on saturday but I'm sure he would'nt mind having a few guys there to ride up at Krug with him.

Hey fellas, how was the riding this weekend?

Rob,
Trails were good on Sunday... Jason and Randy decided to do a cross race with JP so I was up there pretty much by myself but ran into another local biker (Justin) and finished out a lap with him. I spent most of my ride picking up downed branches and clearing some overhead stuff as we had some pretty strong winds the last couple of days. Weather was great around here. May have to get the blower out and start clearing some leaves in the next couple of weeks.

Glad to hear the weather was good. Hopefully well have good weather this weekend while I'm out there.

I rode Hall Ranch yesterday near Boulder. It's one of my favorites but it's usually super busy on weekend. It wasn't bad yesterday, must be football season. I would def love to take you guys to Hall when you come to Fort Fun. I haven't looked but I bet there's some quality videos of Hall on Youtube. Check out the Bitterbrush rock garden. Sickness...

Anyway, I'm getting my new rainforest green Ellworth Epiphany delivered today! My buddy Josh is getting his too. Looks like we might be having a bike building party tonight in my garage after the Overland mtb club's board meeting!

Have any of you guys got a chace to check out the Overland blog yet?

So where is the report on "Jason & Randy's big adventure" the cross dressing episode. Or race or whatever they went to do?
