What's up guys? It's been a while since I checked the posts. Most of you probably don't remember me but I rode with you all a few times last summer before school started. Anyways, I haven't rode forever because I had ACL replacement done in OCT. But I get the green from doc on the 25th. So I'll be looking for some easy riding and fun. Keep me updated of when and where, and I'd like to help work on trails when I can. Hit me up at mmears@cmdconline.net

Hey Fellas, Looking into creating a 501(c)3 MTB club needs a name...
Any objections to RT's "Hard Breathing Fat Kids MTB club"?

Anyone good at paperwork for that matter...

There is a list of things the club must have in place before it could file for 501C status. 1) A Name that meets requirments of state law. 2) Create corporate bylaws. 3) Appoint the intial directors. 4)File formal paperwork. 5) Apply for federal & state exemptions. 6)Hold meeting of the board of directors & members.

BTW - I don't think the state would allow the Hard Breathing Fat Kids - sorry

Where there's a will there's a way!

Anyone want to volunteer to help get this shindig started... Any HBFK out there?

BTW- Does any of the following points (1,2,3,4,5) cost any $$$$$$$ ???

I'll send for the paper work today. There may be a small filing fee.

The club will need to come up with a name, mission statement, bylaws, and board of directors
